Lots of movement after the last inter-zone tournament at TRU this past weekend.

Wildcard Berthing is still being figured out but here is where things are at the moment:

Still some questions…as in others may be added if zones don’t send a rep (more likely at AAA)

Island AAA:
On Wednesday, Claremont def. Oak Bay 2-1 in a close match for the Lower Island title.
Island AA:
Lower islands: Lambrick beat both PCS and Victoria High to win. Victoria second, PCS third.

Okanagan

West: South Kam beat Westsyde 3-1 to win
North: Kal beat Vernon 3-1 to win. Fulton beat Seaton 3-0 for third
South: Princess Margaret beat Summerland 3-1 to win
Central: George Elliot is the only team

OKANAGAN ‘A’ Final Season zone results:

West- St. Anns 1st, Kamloops Christian 2nd
Central- Kelowna Christian 1st, Immaculata 2nd
North- Vernon Christian 1st, Revelstoke 2nd, King’s Christian 3rd, Charles Bloom 4th

DCS beat the Lakers (25-13, 19-25, 15-7)
NCS beat Cedar (25-12, 25-13)

Lakers won (18-25, 25-23, 15-11) over Cedar in the 3rd/4th place game
NCS won (25-15, 25-15) over DCS in the 1st/2nd place game

Week 5 BC Boys High School Rankings

Two major tournaments this weekend in Kelowna Best of the West and Oak Bay from the island have led to some movement in the rankings, as well as teams that have been a bit off the radar until now. (If a space is blank, they were NR last week.)

Only a couple small tournaments scheduled for next weekend, but Delta is hosting 16 teams Oct. 28/29. A big Christian Schools tournament is scheduled this weekend at Langley Christian and should also give some clarity to the AA bracket.

Some movement this week for A and AA teams, as there was a Christian Schools tournament over the past weekend. The results from that tournament were as follows:

1st – MEI, 2nd – Pacific Christian, 3rd – Langley Christian, 4th – Pacific Academy, 5th – Abbotsford Christian. Big tournament this coming weekend in Kamloops at TRU. There will be some teams from other zones competing.
